Fall River Photographer Offers Services to Animal Shelter

in July 2024, over 20 dogs were rescued from a home in Massachusetts and brought to Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River. Rego saw the story and was heartbroken for the animals.

She knew she wanted to help, but a little sign from her late grandmother ultimately encouraged her to call Forever Paws.

“I was in my Vavo’s backyard when a sickly cat came up to me and laid down near me. Vavo absolutely loved animals and she always said that I had ‘the sugar’ for kids and animals,” Rego said.

For her, it was a sign from above to give Forever Paws a call and offer her services.

Picture Day at Forever Paws Animal Shelter

“It was an absolutely amazing experience meeting and working with Megan," Arianna Silva of Forever Paws said. “She was fantastic with the dogs and when I saw the pictures, it brought tears to my eyes. We are so very grateful for her generous act of kindness that will undoubtedly help these dogs find their forever homes.”

For Rego and Silva, that’s what this photo shoot was all about. It was a chance for the personalities of each animal to shine and hopefully catch the eyes of loving families looking for new pets.
