A dog that was already set to be euthanized for biting a little boy is now in the custody of animal control officials in Mansfield after biting a teenager over the weekend.

The dog, known as Milo, was ordered euthanized last week by Mansfield selectmen following a January attack on a six-year-old who needed 400 stitches to close his wounds. However, the selectmen allowed the dog to stay with his owner for ten days to allow time for an appeal.

Saturday, Milo attacked a 16-year-old girl, who was hospitalized in New Hampshire with unknown injuries.

An update from WCVB states that the owners have agreed to put Milo down. The family surrendered the dog on Saturday.
