Remember when 2016 Republican nominee Donald Trump accused the Obama administration of spying on his campaign? The White House basically said he was being paranoid and the press, of course, parroted the White House. It turned out that it was true.

James Comey and the Obama Justice Department were doing just that. They claimed to have had suspicions of crimes of collusion with Russia but that turned out to be a wild goose chase. The Obama White House was investigating the adversary party's presidential nominee. They were also sharing the information of this investigation with liberal media outlets like CNN.

Fast forward to September of 2019 and these same Democrats are accusing President Trump of collaborating with the president of Ukraine.

It seems clear to most Americans who have heard the scenario that what Joe Biden did as vice president, with respect to Ukraine, is worth an investigation.

The Democrats and their weaponized media seem to think that, because Joe Biden is running against Trump, this somehow puts up a political force field, making him immune to any crimes he may have committed as long as he runs against Trump.

President Trump seems to think that if he doesn't initiate an investigation into a seemingly huge criminal nepotism by proxy, via pressure from Biden to Ukrainian leaders, it will be buried with no justice done.

The fact that CNN, NBC, the Boston Globe, and the New York Times don't even mention just what it is that Trump wants to be investigated is self-explaining.

Congressman Seth Moulton bragged about himself, unwittingly exposing himself like a dolt earlier this week. When asked if he supported the impeachment based on the president's call to Ukraine (a call which he had not yet heard any of the content), he said "Yes."

Moulton went on to add, "I’ve been on the side of having this impeachment inquiry since December of 2017. I was one of the first to say ‘nobody is above the law.'"

Two things here, Einstein. One, you were wrong about Trump in December of 2017. There was no Russian collusion as you convinced yourself otherwise. Two, you absolutely see someone above the law: Joe Biden, for one.

Where is your declaration to see a full investigation into Biden's statement that he did indeed threaten Ukraine by promising to take back the one-billion dollars in loans, unless they fired the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, Hunter Biden's unlikely and not-very-picky employer?

VP Joe Biden also brought Hunter over to China in Air Force Two and before the pair returned to America, Hunter had secured a $1.5 billion loan from the Bank of China. So what was that? Seth, your virtues are as solid as your chances to be president.

President Trump realizes that he has perhaps two or, at the most, six years to control the Oval Office and unveil the bottomless pit of corruption that is Washington, D.C.

I'll tell you how this will all unfold, though. The transcript is about a 1.2 on the Richter scale of actionable offenses by Trump.

I suspect the "whistleblower" was set up and promised a blockbuster transcript for Speaker Pelosi. The Trump White House has smoked out a few rats with disinformation in recent months.

Soon, when this impeachment falls flat on its face, the Democratic infighting begins. And when Biden is finished as a candidate and the ever-so-fragile candidacy of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is the only thing standing in the way for Trump's re-election, people will see the difference.

What difference?

I mean the difference between Washington hustlers and a guy who has almost always come out on top dealing with New York hustlers, and continues to slip through the Deep State traps and setups he's faced long before he secured the nomination.

Pelosi walked right into this and now the talking heads on CNN and MSNBC (after seeing the underwhelming, painfully dull transcript of Trump's call to Zelensky) are asking their viewers to "read between the lines." As I heard it said on my colleague Chris McCarthy's show, "In reality, it is what is actually in the lines that one can be condemned in a court of law."

When a prosecutor is left without an article of evidence but asks the jury to instead use their imaginations, it usually doesn't end well for them. Unless much more is to follow, Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will probably have a blaming deathmatch from now until well past the elections of 2020.

One more thing, Mitt Romney is the worst. He might be the most morally vacuous mannequin in the GOP.
