Former Dartmouth High School football star Jordan Todman is back on the move.

The 26-year-old has agreed to terms on a deal to join the Indianapolis Colts, according to the team's website.

Todman is entering his fifth season in the NFL, since being drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 draft by the San Diego Chargers.

The UConn product will join his sixth team since entering the league, as he has already had stints with San Diego, the Minnesota Vikings, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Carolina Panthers and, most recently, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 44 career games, Todman has performed well in a limited role. On just 115 carries, the former Dartmouth star has rushed for 472 yards, which averages out to 4.1 yards per carry. He's also proved to be a threat in the passing game, as he's caught 40 passes for 314 yards over his career.

Most of Todman's stats, including all five of his touchdowns (three on the ground and two through the air) came during his three year stint in Jacksonville.

Along with legitimate playing time in the offense, Todman carved out a niche as a top level kick returner during his time with the Jaguars. In 33 games, Todman returned 68 kicks for 1,762 yards. That rounds out to an average of 25.9 yards per return.

Last season, with the Steelers, Todman played sparingly during the regular season. Due to injuries, he did get his first taste of postseason play and rose to the occasion in limited reps. On just 16 carries, Todman rushed for 71 total yards and 4.4 yards per carry.

Todman now joins a Colts backfield that includes Frank Gore, recently signed Robert Turbin, and youngsters Trey Williams and Tyler Varga.

Given the opportunity to play, the 5-10, 200-pounder has proven that he can produce. It remains to be seen how much playing time he will get in the Indianapolis rotation.
