Phil Paleologos and John LeBoutillier will be broadcasting live from the Newport Art Museum tomorrow morning, April 19, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The broadcast is part of the celebration of the grand opening of the new exhibit based on the artwork of Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, who in addition to being an influential artist was also John’s great grandmother.

The Newport Art Museum has graciously allowed WBSM to come early, before the exhibit officially opens to the public, to broadcast live.

Also helping to make this broadcast possible was NewportStyle.net. It is your online home for Newport’s casual-elegant style when it comes to all kinds of gifts—including fashions, home décor, jewelry and books.

Many items at NewportStyle.net represent the work of local artisans and designers. For instance, there’s the “Newport Nautical Chart Throw;” imagine wrapping yourself up in a fleece navigation chart of Newport’s local waters – or pick your favorite port of call. You’ll also find Lola Jewelry, Alex and Ani, Mariposa giftware, and so much more.

And we’d also like to thank Salve Regina University for helping to make this all possible. Tune in Friday morning at 6 a.m. and call in to talk to John LeBoutillier at (508) 996-0500.
