New Bedford Bar Offers Wings and Cash for Missing Bathroom Poster

There’s a theft mystery unfolding at Rose Alley Ale House in downtown New Bedford, and this one comes with a very tasty reward.

Sometime during the night on Thursday, August 27, someone apparently removed a framed photo of Danish model Nina Agdal from the wall. The missing artwork was discovered Friday morning, leaving the Rose Alley crew asking one very important question: where in the world is Nina?

The photo features Agdal posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition during a shoot at Coney Island. It had become part of the personality and décor inside the popular New Bedford bar's men's room, but now there’s nothing left behind but an empty spot on the wall.

Rose Alley Wants Its Nina Back

“We can hardly believe that this is not a PR stunt, but someone actually took our precious Nina off the wall,” Rose Alley shared.

Now, the restaurant is offering a reward of 10 pounds of wings and $100 to anyone who provides information that helps bring the missing artwork home. That’s right: cold, hard cash and enough chicken wings to feed your entire amateur detective agency. While it may be tempting to make a clean getaway with a Sports Illustrated model tucked under your arm, Rose Alley would much rather see Nina returned to her rightful place.

The Best of South Shore Bar Pizza

There's pizza, and then there's South Shore Bar Pizza. Birthed in Brockton (and to this writer, perfected in Randolph – Lynwood Café is the true G.O.A.T.), it must meet certain qualifications to be considered "SSBP," which include: it's a 10-inch pie; it has a thin, cracker-like crust with minimal "flop;" the cheese is a blend that features more cheddar than mozzarella; and bonus points if you take it home between two carboard-type plates wrapped in flat brown paper bag. They also usually come with "laced" or "burnt" edges (terminology depends on where you are ordering), which is when the sauce and cheese are extended all the way to the edge of the pan, creating a crispy, flavorful coating to the crust.
