FALL RIVER — The body of the man who jumped from the Braga Bridge in Fall River Monday after was discovered Friday night in the Taunton River.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office says the body of the man, identified as 34-year-old Samuel Weber of East Providence, Rhode Island, was transported to the Heritage State Park boat ramp in Fall River after being discovered in the river.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the Braga Bridge on Monday, July 27 at around 5:30 p.m., searching for a jumper after an unattended vehicle was found left on the bridge. Witnesses reported seeing the man jump from the bridge.

 

The district attorney's office says foul play is not suspected.
