Have you seen this picture? ABC News reported last week that 99-year old Helen Putz now knows that the person that took her son's lost bicycle was actually a tree.

Helen got the bike in 1954. It was a girl's bike but Helen thought her son wouldn't mind. But back then, eight-year-old Don didn't want to ride around town on a girl's bike, so he left it in the woods and told his mother he "lost" it.  The Putz family didn't think much of it until, 50 years later, they heard about a bike being "swallowed" by a tree. Helen went to check out the bike and discovered it was the same bike her son had "lost" many years ago. The bike has been lifted 5 feet off the ground and has become a tourist attraction for people visiting Vashon Island between Seattle and Tacoma.
