WAREHAM — An Attleboro man is under arrest after causing a disturbance at a Wareham gas station.

On Monday, June 24, at about 9:15 a.m., Wareham Police responded to a reported disturbance at the Speedway Gas on Main Street. Officers say that upon arrival they observed a male yelling and acting in an extremely agitated manner towards another male. The officers determined that one of the males had been asked to leave by an employee after becoming unruly in the store.

Officers Zina Kelsch and Richard Robidoux placed 62-year-old Louie Figaratto, Jr. of Attleboro under arrest for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

It is alleged that Mr. Figaratto became so hostile that he spat at, shoved, and threw coins at the employee during the incident.
