High School sports from Thursday night.. In boys high school basketball..Westport beat Cardinal Spellman 52-34.. in girls hoops, Fairhaven knocked off Dartmouth 62-55 and Westport topped Sacred Heart 37-23

The Boston Bruin's are about to fire up the 2012-2013 season this weekend.  The season of course is a shortened one because of the lock out.

As a life long New England resident, I have seen our four major teams win championships and be in the basement.
