No injuries were reported during a partial roof collapse Saturday afternoon at the Price-Rite Supermarket at 139 Hathaway Road.  Saturday's heavy rain apparently caused the roof to give way.

Police and Fire units responded to the Hathaway Road location around 3pm.  Police say a portion of the roof collapsed in the rear of the building, and apparently snapped a gas line.

Police evacuated the supermarket, the other stores in the plaza and the parking lot as a precaution.  Electric power in the area was also shut down for a couple of hours.

Police had no information on whether the stores would open tomorrow.
