The phenomenon of "Johnny Football" continues to captivate sports fans. Johnny Manziel's NFL debut against the Detroit Lions produced record television ratings for the NFL Network.

The August 9th Cleveland-Detroit game was the most-watched preseason game in the Network's history. Nearly three-million viewers tuned in to watch Manziel complete seven passes for 63 yards and rush for 27 yards.

The previous most-watched preseason game was in 2007 when the Saints played the Steelers.
