Pete Gallagher of Wareham has a special place in his heart for Boston Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Hospital. His daughter, Jordyn, has been a patient at Boston Children's since her birth, five years ago. Pete has raised thousands of dollars for both hospitals through his annual Chili Cook-Off in Wareham. He also has run the last two Boston Marathons and will donate pledges in 2020 to the Boston Children's Hospital Miles for Miracles campaign. Pete Gallagher stopped by Townsquare Sunday this week with more information about the Chili Cook-Off, and how you can help with his fundraising efforts.

The Chili Cook-Off will be on Sunday, June 23 from 4 to 8 pm at Stone Path Malt in Wareham. Tickets are $20 for chili and chocolate. Proceeds to benefit Peter Gallagher in the 2020 Boston Marathon. Sample chili recipes from several chefs and vote for your favorite! New England beers on tap brewed with their malt are available for purchase. Wine is also available. Play giant Jenga, ping pong and corn hole. The brewery is kid friendly and they will also have chocolate desserts available.
