Did you know the original Buffalo Wings were immersed in a 'vinegar-butter sauce?' Over the years, spices and heat were added to enhance the taste of one of the world's most popular side dishes. I have a variation of Buffalo Wing Sauce that is mild, piquant and very tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tablespoon white or rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Simply combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, pepper and garlic powder and heat slowly over a medium flame. Keep stirring with a whisk and as soon as it begins to bubble, remove from heat and let it cool. The taste will be velvety and delicious! Let me know if you like this mild sauce. It is good on lots of your favorite foods!
