Although there have been no signs of contamination or reports of sickness, Canada-based company, Niagara Bottling LLC, has recalled some of their products "out of an abundance of caution."

A spring that supplies water to two of the plants had traces of E. coli and the operator of that spring failed to report it to the family-owned company. Production was brought to a halt and bottles were immediately disinfected before the voluntary recall was issued.

The recall only applies to the water bottled in two Pennsylvania plants between June 10 and June 18. Purchased water should be returned if the label date reads in the range of:

1. F# BEST BY 08DEC2016 to F# BEST BY 16DEC2016 OR

2. A# BEST BY 08DEC2016 to A# BEST BY 16DEC2016

Niagara also warns consumers to look out for these labels as they also supply water to these companies as well: Acadia, Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-Eleven, Niagara, Nature's Place, Pricerite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, Shoprite, Western Beef Blue and Wegman's.

"Niagara said it routinely tests spring source water and its finished product to ensure its safety. The company said it has detected no E. coli contamination in either."
