Jaxen is a young boy who enjoys playing catch as a part of his engagement in social stimulation. Jaxen loves watching Frozen, and the movie's music makes him especially happy. He also enjoys Moana. Music by Mariah Carey is a favorite, specifically "All I Want For Christmas."
Lullabies help to soothe Jaxen and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "The Wheels On The Bus" are his jams. The people who know Jaxen best say that when his needs are met, he has a fabulous smile and quality laugh.
Families of any makeup will be considered for Jaxen, but ideally, families that can handle his medical issues. His health needs are complex. He is medically cleared to leave his hospital-based placement and is eager to find his forever family. Families with flexible schedules that can accommodate his medical appointments will also be an important factor in finding the right match for Jaxen, as meeting his health needs is crucial in his thriving. Out-of-state families will be considered, but monthly visits with family need to be maintained at this time.
