You Too Could Be a New England Patriots Cheerleader
Ever want to take the field at Gillette Stadium but weren't sure you could survive a hit from a six-foot-two, 220-pound linebacker? Yeah, me too.
For that and other reasons, I've resigned to being an armchair quarterback in the warmth and safety of my living room.
Besides, the bathroom is just down the hall, and the fridge, filled with beer that doesn't cost $10, is in the next room.
But there is still a way to get on the field without risking life-altering bodily injury. Not only that, you get paid for it.
Become a New England Patriots Cheerleader!
Back in the day, cheerleading positions, like airline stewardesses, were open only to petite little blondes of the female persuasion – but times have changed, and brunettes and redheads are welcome to apply too.
I'm only kidding!
Like the airlines, the cheerleading business has opened its ranks to men – and the other genders – and all are welcome to try out for the New England Patriots co-ed cheerleading squad.
As luck would have it, the Patriots are conducting virtual auditions now. The team "encourages interested candidates to sign up for our Audition Prep Class Series and 2023 Audition Workshop to help prepare for our 2023 Patriots Cheerleader Auditions."
Candidates should visit Patriots.com to register or they can submit an audition package.
You'd better hurry, because auditions are open until February 24, 2023.
New England Patriots Cheerleaders perform at Patriots games and make appearances in the community on behalf of the team.
