Will Middlebrooks hit a three-run homer and a grand slam to power the Red Sox to a 15 - 5 win over the Rockies. The Sox are off today as they travel to Baltimore for the final series of the regular season.

The Red Sox lead Oakland by two games for the best record in the AL.

The Bruins are in Winnipeg tonight for a preseason game with the Jets. They open the regular season a week from tonight.

VOLLEYBALL: GNB Voc Tech beat Bristol-Plymouth 3 games to 2, Bourne over ORR 3-0.
