Democratic candidate for governor Setti Warren joined WBSM's Chris McCarthy for a brief chat on a number of topics.

Warren, the former mayor of Newton, Massachusetts, discussed topics such as the multiple state police scandals. Warren is calling for the state legislature to put together an independent commission to investigate the state police overtime scandal.

Warren said Governor Charlie Baker's leadership is to blame for many of the state police problems.

In something that may get him a number of SouthCoast votes, Warren also promised that if elected, he'll get the ball rolling to replace New Bedford-Fairhaven bridge.

Warren also discussed topics such as offshore wind, Amazon potentially moving to Massachusetts, rail service across the Commonwealth and more.
