Massachusetts Restaurant’s Breathtaking Holiday Pop-Up Includes 6,000 Ornaments
This holiday pop-up is worth the drive to Weymouth. Just look at this winter wonderland, sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
With Thanksgiving in the rear view mirror, It's now safe to play holiday music everywhere and, of course, decorate for the holiday.
Of course, there is no rule against decorating early, especially if you do it right. The Venetian Weymouth has had holiday decor up since Nov. 1 and it's getting lots of attention.
We tried to count all the hanging ornaments in the Broad Street Italian restaurant but lost count at 250. Luckily someone at the restaurant counted for us and the tally is about 6,000. Whew.
If you are a holiday junkie, then this pop-up is a must. While walk-ins are welcome and you'll pay no more than you would for lunch or dinner any other time of year, you can make a reservation to be safe.
It isn't just about the sights and sounds of the holiday, either. Fresh greenery from a local florist fills the restaurant with wonderful seasonal scents. The folks behind this paid attention to every detail all they way down to the cocktails and garnish.
If the next few weeks have you busy with holiday shopping and parties, this place will be decorated up to Jan. 31.
This suburban Boston escape is also family-friendly with something on the menu for even the pickiest eaters.
