“Unattended Death” In Fairhaven Under Investigation

State and Fairhaven Police are investigating what they're calling an "unattended death" Tuesday in East Fairhaven.

Greg Milliote, a spokesman for the Bristol County District Attorney's office, says the body of a 69 year old woman was found insider her Hamlet Street home around mid-day.

The discovery was made by a friend.  The medical examiner took control of the body, and an autopsy is planned for Wednesday.
