UMass Dartmouth Police Investigate Second Sexual Assault In Two Weeks

UMass Dartmouth Police are investigating a rape that took place on campus last week.

The victim reported the sexual assault Tuesday.

She told the Department of Public Saftey that she was assaulted by an unknown male in the fourth floor common area in Pine Dale Hall around 2:00 AM on April 29.

She describes the assailant as a medium to dark complected black male, skinny build, approximately six feet tall, short hair, and wearing blue jeans. She also smelled cigarette smoke.

Another rape was reported at Pine Dale Hall three days earlier on the 26th.
