UMass Dartmouth On List Of Most Affordable Public Schools

UMass Dartmouth is one of 50 schools around the country ranked most affordable for out of state students.

The rankings come from a website, AffordableColleges.com. UMass Dartmouth ranks 17th among the 50 schools listed.

Spokesman John Hoey tells WBSM News, UMass Dartmouth makes a real effort to help students in need.

Hoey says the state legislature and Governor have also helped in the past two years, by increasing the budget for the UMass system, prompting schools to freeze student tuition and fees.
