On March 8, nursing students from UMD's College of Nursing will host a Dance-A-Thon to support research at Boston's Children's Hospital.

This is the third year nursing students have organized this 12-hour dance marathon. Throughout the day, at Woodland Commons location, children will be sharing their personal stories of inspiration.

On Thursday, Brent Medeiros and Nicole Trembley joined me on-air to spread the word and raise awareness of the annual fundraiser. Registration fee for the dance marathon is only $10 and all proceeds go to Children's Hospital.

On Facebook go to UMass Dartmouth Dance Marathon for more details. And while you're there, scroll down and look at the photo of the window washers at Children's Hospital, each dressed in a colorful cartoon costumes!
