Students, faculty members, and state officials had the chance to learn a bit more about the role of the country's Attorney General from the man himself. Eric Holder dropped by the UMass Dartmouth School of Law Friday, taking questions and providing his take on many issues he faces on a daily basis.

Holder says gun safety is one of the topics he's most passionate about, and made it clear he's willing to do whatever it takes to prevent unnecessary bloodshed.

Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter wholeheartedly agrees with Holder, and says he fully supports measures that would make it even more difficult for firearms to end up in the wrong hands.

Holder also expressed his concerns on the sequester, as the Department of Justice faces $1.6-billion in cuts, which he says would have a profound impact on the Department's effectiveness.
