FALL RIVER — On October 31th at approximately 11:50 p.m., Fall River Police responded to 218 Plain Street on reports of multiple shots fired, and someone screaming.

When police arrived, they found two female victims. One victim was sitting at the kitchen table with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to her leg, and a second victim was located in the living room with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to her leg. Officers secured the area and administered first aid to these victims while awaiting Fall River Fire EMTs.

The victims were stabilized once EMTs arrived, and prepared for transport to Rhode Island Hospital. Prior to transport, an officer learned that the shooting happened on the street in front 218 Plain Street. The victims stated they were leaving a Halloween party and walking toward their car, when a male came up from between parked cars and began shooting at them. The shooter is described as “a male wearing all black."

Both victims were treated at Rhode Island Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
