Fall River Man With 32 Prior Convictions Pleads Guilty in Federal Fentanyl, Gun Case
BOSTON (WBSM) — A Fall River man pleaded guilty to federal drug distribution, conspiracy, and firearm charges Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Wilson Colon-Tirado, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of distribution of 40 grams or more of fentanyl, one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Colon-Tirado was charged alongside co-conspirator Antonio Dossantos-Tirado in October 2025.

Undercover Fentanyl and Firearm Deals in Fall River
The case dates back to June 10, 2025, when Colon-Tirado sold a firearm, about 31 grams of fentanyl, and about 29 grams of cocaine to a cooperating witness at the Sunset Hill housing development in Fall River. It had been arranged with Colon-Tirado and his relative, Dossantos-Tirado.
A week later, on June 17, Colon-Tirado sold 49.9 grams of fentanyl to the cooperating witness, and on July 24, sold him two privately made 9mm firearms and about 19.9 grams of fentanyl. He also told him he could obtain more firearms, and a second firearm was delivered during the meeting.
Colon-Tirado sold the witness about 51.1 grams of fentanyl on August 6, and another 50 grams on October 7.
Extensive Criminal Record and Gun Restrictions
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Colon-Tirado has at least 32 prior criminal convictions, including a 2021 state conviction for trafficking cocaine, for which he was sentenced to two to three years in state prison. Because of his felony convictions, Colon-Tirado is legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
Potential Federal Prison Sentence and Fines
Colon-Tirado will be sentenced on January 7, 2026. He faces up to 40 years in prison for the fentanyl distribution charge, up to 20 years on the conspiracy charge, and up to 15 years on the firearm charge. He also faces fines potentially totaling $6.25 million.
Co-Defendant Guilty Plea and Court Timeline
Dossantos-Tirado pleaded guilty on Sept. 22, 2026 and is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 21, 2026.
