Two men wanted in Wareham for failing to register as sex offenders have surrendered to authorities.

Wareham Police obtained arrest warrants this week for 57 year old Thomas Tavares and 38 year old Christopher Wyatt, after learning the pair had failed to register as level-three sex offenders while living in Wareham.

Late Friday afternoon, Police Chief Kevin Walsh offered an update; Tavares had surrendered to authorities at New Bedford District Court, while Wyatt turned himself in at a courthouse in Virgnia.
