Two Local Men Arrested at Greasy Luck

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police say they responded to the Greasy Luck restaurant on Purchase Street early Sunday morning around 1:54 a.m. for a call of a man who was acting disorderly.

Police say while they were arresting Peter James Farland, 30, of Fairhaven for disorderly conduct, another man intervened and allegedly struck the officer in the face.

Police then arrested Thomas Manning, 35, of Taunton and charged him with disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.

New Bedford Police say the officer was not injured.
