Two Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested Following Chase
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) _ Two bank robbery suspects have been arrested and a state trooper has been injured after a high speed chase in Massachusetts.
State Police say a trooper in Foxboro spotted a car connected to a bank robbery in Brockton at around 3:45 p.m. Friday.
The suspects sped away along a number of roads before crashing and fleeing on foot.
One of the suspects, 48-year-old Dong Lee of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The second suspect, 47-year-old Charles Wheeler, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, was eventually stopped near the Rhode Island state line after he stole another car.
Both are charged with receiving stolen property and a stolen motor vehicle.
A trooper involved in the second chase also suffered minor injuries after crashing his vehicle.
