Townsquare Sunday: Rise up for Homes

Reverend David Lima wears many hats in the New Bedford community. Besides serving as the Executive Minister of the Interchurch Council of New Bedford, he also serves as chairman of New Bedford's Homeless Service Providers Network. Rev. Lima is also involved with 'Rise Up For Homes', the fund-raising arm of the HSPN. The money raised by the Rise Up organization is used for the continuing care of the homeless, getting them from the street and eventually into housing. Reverend Lima will join WBSM's Jim Phillips on this week's Townsquare Sunday to discuss the effort to help New Bedford's homeless population, the Rise Up program, the school shooting in Florida and much more.
