Federal, state and local law enforcement officials track down three men wanted for crimes in the city.

Members of the Violent Crimes Task Force on Friday took into custody 34 year old Michael Cubero at his State Street apartment, charging him with armed assault with intent to murder, in connection with a recent stabbing at Tilia's Restaurant in New Bedford.

Also arrested Friday was 23 year old Pedro Fuentes, who lives on Division Street.  He was wanted on a warrent charging him with drug and weapons violations.

The third man arrested was 18 year old Jean Neves. Police located him in an apartment at 280 Acushnet Avenue.  Det. Sgt Victor Mendez  says Neves was wanted on assault charges.  Police also recovered 22 caliber ammunition and some crack cocaine.
