Imagine doing your food shopping and being able to go down an aisle filled with name brand beers and wines. The Shaw's supermarket in Dartmouth has been granted permission by that town to sell beer and wine at it's route 6 store. This is definitely the exception and not the baystate rule. Why can't all grocery, drug and supermarket stores compete with the liquor stores? Why does the Commonwealth of Massachusetts allow such an unfair advantage to the liquor stores? Let there be competition. It's great and more convenient for the consumer.
