The Shell Factory Receives National Recognition

1420 WBSM looks forward to broadcasting New Bedford Day from The Shell Factory in Ft. Myers, Florida every second Tuesday in March. The Shell Factory is a landmark roadside attraction that has been welcoming families for over 80 years. What's more, The Shell Factory is the world's largest seashell retailer and is the home of North America's largest collection of taxidermy estimated to be worth over seven million dollars!
