Broadening the New Bedford Day Broadcast [PHIL-OSOPHY]
We have some great news about stretching the New Bedford Day broadcast this Tuesday, March 10 from Fort Myers, Florida.
We've been saying we'll be phoning in live reports within The Howie Carr Show between 3-5 p.m., but now we'll also be joining The Barry Richard Show, with phone-ins twice an hour from noon-3 p.m.
Tune in to 1420 WBSM Tuesday afternoon, and you'll probably hear from local friends who've sold their houses and retired to Florida. We also have a lot of SouthCoast residents who spend six months up here and six months down there. They all turn out for New Bedford Day by the hundreds. It turns into a reunion and festive get-together where everyone has a fun time kibitzing with each other, with a beverage, under the palm trees and blue skies.
I'd like to personally thank Barry for his goodness and hospitality. I know being on Barry's show will add an abundance to the broadcast that will be streamed on our WBSM app.
Speaking of gratitude, thanks to Tetrault Insurance, located at 4317 Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford, for sponsoring the broadcast. Paul and Sue Tetrault go way back with Brian and Johan Lawler, the godparents of the event that started 16 years ago.
See you on the radio this Tuesday starting at noon.
