Albany, NY was rocked early on Wednesday morning when the FBI arrested two local men  who are connected to a potential terrorist plot.

According to WRGB in Albany, 49-year-old Glendon Scott Crawford of Galway and 54-year-old Eric Feight of Hudson have been charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists.

The FBI had been investigating this for 14 months, when they got wind that Crawford was attempting a plot to build a machine that could kill anyone perceived as an 'enemy of Israel'. Crawford was employed by General Electric in Schenectady.

Apparently Crawford and Glendon were attempting to build a mobile device that would emit radiation to silently kill their targets. The Department of Justice says that the device that the two men built was 'inoperable' the entire time, and posed no threat to the public.
