
Taunton Three-Car Crash Leaves Man With Life-Threatening Injuries
TAUNTON (WBSM) — A serious motor vehicle crash in Taunton Tuesday evening that left a person with life-threatening injuries is under investigation.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Taunton Police responded at around 6:10 p.m. on March 18 to multiple 911 calls reporting a serious motor vehicle crash in the area of 1070 Somerset Avenue.
Police and EMS arrived to find three vehicles were involved in the crash.

The D.A.’s Office said a 2018 gray Dodge Challenger with two occupants sustained extensive front-end damage, and a 2008 gray Toyota Camry with one occupants also had extensive front-end damage. A 2021 gray Dodge Ram pickup was also involved, and sustained damage along the back end of the vehicle.
The adult male driver of the Challenger was transported to a medical facility with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition, the D.A.’s Office said. The passenger of the Challenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment as well.
The adult female that was driving the Camry also suffered serious injuries and remains in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the Ram was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
No names were released.
No cause was provided for the crash by the D.A.’s Office. The investigation remains ongoing by Taunton Police and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
