Free Outdoor Movies Throughout July at Taunton’s Star Drive-In
TAUNTON (WBSM) – What's summer without a classic movie night transporting you into a world of favorite films?
Taunton's Star Drive-In is back hosting "Movies Under the Stars," a free movie night every Saturday throughout July.
Any movie lover could say they love the movie experience, but sitting for two hours in a cold theater can sometimes detract from the joy.

Luckily, most theaters today have reclining seats, making things a little more comfortable. However, switching things up with an outdoor setup at a classic drive-in helps you step away from the modern movie viewing.
The Star Drive-In has been offering movie nights since 1964. Since then, the experience has changed, creating a more enjoyable space for everyone.
A movie night at the Drive-In features a 20-foot screen, high-definition Blu-ray players, and Yamaha sound to bring the story to life.
You can rewatch old-time classics like Grease, Top Gun and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial on a big screen like the first time you saw them in theaters. The movies are kid-friendly.
What's a movie night without food? The Star Drive-In's menu is full of options, including pizza, burgers and seafood delivered fresh from Kyler's Catch in New Bedford.
In addition, the Drive-In offers over 60 ice cream flavors, making the movie experience even sweeter. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
Planning to attend a movie night at The Star Drive-in couldn't be easier. All you need to bring is a lawn chair and blankets. Each movie will begin at sunset, weather permitting.
