conspiracy to violate drug laws

Seven people were arrested Tuesday night following a raid by New Bedford Police at an apartment in the city's North End.

Police have taken five people into custody this week suspected of carrying out activity consistent with the sale of illegal drugs.

Police carried out the drug sweep Wednesday afternoon and evening.
