Seven Arrested in New Bedford Drug Raid
NEW BEDFORD — Seven people were arrested Tuesday night following a raid by New Bedford Police at an apartment in the city's North End.
Members of the New Bedford Police Gang and Narcotics Units executed a search warrant at 131 Hathaway Street, Apartment 2W at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22. Located during a search of the apartment was $1,932 in cash and just over two grams of suspected crack cocaine.
Arrested was:
Alyssa Jackson, 23, of that address was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Scott J. Piva, 36, of that address was charged with possession of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Christina Maria Alves, 30, of that address was charged with possession of a Class B substance.
Joanye C. Harkins, 57, of West Dennis was charged with possession of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Seth Thomas Andrade, 40, of New Bedford was charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine), conspiracy to violate drug laws, and was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Heather Marie Jeannette, 30, of New Bedford was charged with possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class B substance (subsequent offense), and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Lacy J. Langevin, 36, of New Bedford was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (crack cocaine), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (subsequent offense), conspiracy to violate drug laws, and on two oustanding warrants.
