After a disappointing finish to the regular season this past weekend, that left the Bruins with their second straight year out of the playoffs, it seems head coach Claude Julien will not pay the ultimate price for Boston's under-performance.
Tuukka Rask made 23 saves for his fourth career playoff shutout, as the Bruins blanked the Red Wings 3-0 in Game Three of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at Joe Louis Arena.
Rask said they just played team defense...
Patrice Bergeron had a goal and an assist as the Bruins beat the Devil 4-2 in New Jersey. Brad Marchand, Jarome Iginla and Chris Kelly also lit the lamp in Boston's 10th straight win.
The Bruins fell behind 3-0 early in the second period and never recovered in a 4-2 loss to the Kings in Los Angleles.
Tuuka Rask gave up three goals on 18 shots before being lifted for Brad Johnson.

Daniel Paille and Dougie Hamilton each found the back of the net for Boston but teh Bruins suffered a 5-2 loss to the Ducks in Anaheim last night. Tuuka Rask made 15 saves in defeat.
The Bruins face the Kings in Los Angeles tomorrow.
