Suspected Wife Killer Captured in Whitman
BOSTON — The man who was the subject of a manhunt has been captured in Whitman, according to WBZ-TV.
Allen Warner, 47, of Rockland was being sought for the suspected killing of his soon-to-be-ex wife, Shana Warner, 48.
The victim called police last night in Marshfield saying that Warner was following her. Responding officers found the woman's car on Main Street in Marshfield. She had suffered severe gunshot injuries to her face, and was later pronounced dead at South Shore Hospital.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's office then announced that a massive manhunt was underway for Warner, who was considered to be armed an dangerous. The advised residents of the area near the crime scene to go under lockdown and avoid the area.
There are no other details of the arrest at this time.
