The Mansfield train station will be closed to all commuters on Thursday after a man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Wednesday afternoon.

ABC6 is reporting that the incident occurred at around 2:44 p.m., when the trespasser was struck by Train 1772, from Washington D.C. to Boston, while attempting to cross from the Crocker St. side.

A spokesperson for Amtrak says none of train's passengers were injured.

The victim hasn't yet been identified.
