A 21-year-old man is the recipient of the worlds first successful penis transplant.

South African doctors performed the nine-hour surgery last December.  The unnamed patient had his organ amputated during a botched circumcision three years ago.

Doctors say he has already recovered full urinary and reproductive functions.  They say the procedure could eventually be made available to men who have lost their penis to cancer or as a last resort for severe erectile dysfunction. (Metro Networks Inc)
