Somerset Police Arrest Two in ‘Significant’ Drug Bust
SOMERSET (WBSM) — Two Somerset men were arrested Friday on multiple charges after Police Chief Todd Costa said detectives seized a “significant” amount of drugs as a result.
At about 3:19 this morning, detectives and patrol officers executed a search warrant at an apartment at 412 High Street as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to police, an estimated 105 grams of suspected cocaine was seized, along with a 30-round large-capacity feeding device, 72 rounds of ammunition and $7,448 in cash.
Police arrested Kyle Pelletier, 24, and Julian Bianchi, 25, as a result.
Pelletier is charged with trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine) over 100 grams, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Bianchi is charged with trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine) over 100 grams, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
The two men were scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Fall River District Court.
