The owners of the Lebanese Kitchen are the recipients of a generous donation.

The Purchase Street restaurant was destroyed earlier this month in a fire that remains under investigation.

After seeing footage of the fire, Michael Silvia, administrator of and its Facebook page, decided to start a fundraising campaign urging area residents to give to the Moujabber family.

In about two weeks of fundraising, donors raised nearly $10,000 to benefit the Moujabber family.

Andrew Moujabber, son of owners Nabeh and Nouhad, says his parents are extremely grateful for the help.

The family has been given control of the fundraising account on, which continues to accept donations.
