There's a drug many teenagers know about, but few parents and grandparents do! It's called SPICE or K2, a synthetic form of marijuana, and is said to give the user a marijuana-like high. But the drug has more dangerous side-effects than weed. And the drug is available readily because it is sold as potpourri or incense in convenient stores and smoke shops.

Police in Manchester, N.H., have been warning that the dangerous drug has caused overdoses with a dozen or so smokers, some found unresponsive. The drug has become a popular alternative to marijuana.

Last month, a Facebook page for Connor Eckhardt featured comments from people passing along the condolences to his parents. SPICE is a dangerous and insidious drug that our kids can easily access. Be aware!
