
Seekonk Police Arrest Suspected Sex Workers
SEEKONK — Seekonk police have arrested five people after an undercover sting operation to combat human trafficking, according to a Facebook post from the department last week.
Police said that on Wednesday, undercover officers arranged to meet suspected sex workers through a website known for illegal prostitution.
Four suspects met the officers at various locations in town and were arrested for numerous offenses, according to police.

The charges include sexual conduct for a fee, conspiracy, heroin possession, and active arrest warrants.
A fifth suspect is charged with distributing class B and D drugs.
The suspects were not identified.
No further details were disclosed.
