Scholastic Chess Tournament Coming to Dartmouth

Move your Knight to A-6 and cancel your plans on Saturday for this tournament of the minds.

The Dartmouth Rotary Club is hosting their first annual Scholastic Chess Tournament. The doors of the Dartmouth Middle School will be open on Saturday, September 17 for students through Grade 12 to try and master the art of the age old game of chess. Kings, queens, and rooks will go head-to-head in a competition of strategy and will with the top three finishers in each level will be walking away with a trophy.

Doors open at 9:00am with the first round getting underway at 10:00am with chess boards and pieces provided.
