The Sister Rose Overflow Shelter opens when temperatures drop 28 degrees or below. Emergency shelters need to be opened to support the people in our area who are living without adequate shelter.

It is estimated that at least 60 people are currently living without any kind of shelter whatsoever. These individuals are sleeping outside, in cars, and in abandoned buildings on any given night. Along with First Citizens' Federal Credit Union, we are looking for the community's support in an effort to keep this shelter open throughout the cold nights to come. The hard cost to keep the overflow shelter open is $475 per night. That money is used for supplies, food, overhead, and security staffing to keep the shelter safe.

Please consider supporting this mission to keep our neighbors warm this winter. There are several ways to donate.
